This is the first post on The Compounding Mind — so let me explain what this place is for.

I write about things that compound: money, knowledge, habits, ideas. The name is deliberate. Compounding isn’t just a financial concept — it’s a way of thinking about time and accumulated advantage.

What you’ll find here

Most posts will fall into one of three areas: Personal Finance — frameworks for thinking about money, investing, and building wealth slowly; Investing — deep-dives into businesses, valuation, and portfolio thinking; Productivity — how I use AI tools in my day-to-day work, and what’s actually worth automating.

Why write at all?

Writing forces clarity. If I can’t explain something clearly in a post, I probably don’t understand it well enough.

The best investment you can make is in your own knowledge. The returns compound just like the financial kind.
